Today, we serve tens of millions of Angry Birds players everyday from all corners of the globe. We are a core enabler of Rovio’s mobile games business, and a key pillar in Sega’s plans. You will join a team of over 70 people dedicated to bringing Beacon to life - product, UX design, developers, engineers, expert users. See more about Beacon at the Rovio website.

We are looking for a Lead Technical Solution Manager to join our product management team to proactively help the key Rovio and Sega games to technically integrate with the Beacon products and platform. You will use your own technical knowledge and competences, and coordinate the common efforts within Beacon. In this position, you will report to Niina Ojala, Principal Product Manager, Team Lead.

The Beacon team is mostly located in Espoo and works in a hybrid model (About 1-3 days per week onsite). Currently not based in Finland? No problem at all, we will help you with the relocation and work permit if needed! 

During the holiday season, we will start reviewing applications on first week of January.

You will have impact and fun at work by doing:

  • Proactively helping the key Rovio and Sega games to technically integrate with the Beacon products and platform, including both software and data integrations
  • Using your own technical knowledge and competences, and coordinating the common efforts within Beacon to proactively plan and propose technical integration plans to game teams
  • Communicating about upcoming product feature releases and recommended timeline to integrate by game teams by consolidating information, documenting, and sharing it to game teams
  • Development of our working methods with game teams integrations
  • Execution as Product Owner in an agile development team related to product improvements, focusing especially on integration related to products and features.
  • Concepting EPICs: defining needs, business value and user stores to enable implementation
  • Work closely with product managers, data engineers, SW developers, data analysts, UX designers, QA etc. to support technical integrations

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Technical Solution or Product Management or similar experience developing B2D products (Business to Developer), ideally working with F2P mobile games
  • Relevant technical and data and analytics experience to be able give detailed guidance for mobile applications’ integrations with technical platform and products
  • Project and stakeholder management experience over a large variety of people with different backgrounds and focus areas
  • Ability to understand customers needs and translate them into technical integration plans that create value for customers
  • Experience of agile development - working with data engineers, data analysts, UX designers, developers (data, front-end, client, server) and QA engineers to execute projects

Interview process:

  • First meeting: You will meet the TA Partner to get acquainted and learn more about Rovio and the specifics of the role.
  • Call with a Hiring manager: We will dive deeper into your skills and background, and also discuss what motivates you.
  • Assignment: We’d like to learn more about your hard skills through relevant task. The task will take you a few hours. And we would invite you to present it to the team for a deep dive conversation.
  • Final meetings: You will meet some of the team members and the relevant stakeholders from other teams. Our aim is to get a clear overview of your skills, how you would fit with our working culture, your ambitions and where we can help you develop.
