An estimated 61% of adult US players play games on their mobile phones, and 48% of all US gamers identify as female in 2022. If the majority of adult population play mobile games and nearly half of them identify as female, why are men more than twice as likely as women to call themselves gamers?
It’s a fact that gamers are much more diverse group than we stereotypically think. In honor of International Women’s Day, we want to expand the ways we see women and gaming.
